Class Teacher

We are looking for an experienced preschool Class teacher to deliver International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC) in our preschool.

This position is for someone who enjoys working closely with others in a small school environment and who celebrates collaboration with others in the planning, teaching and learning and assessment processes. As a member of a small community school, the teacher is expected to actively contribute to improvements and growth of the school and its different programmes and initiatives.

Commencement

From 1st July 2021

Experience

• A personal educational philosophy that fits the mission and vision of TGIP
• Must obtained Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education with certification of Level 2 by ECDA
• At least 3 years prior experience working in a Singapore preschool setting, preferably of Nursery and Kindergarten levels
• Familiar with and or updated with ECDA requirements on preschool as well as the NEL (Nurturing Early Learners) framework
• Strong believer of differentiation and child-initiated learning
• Skilled and adaptable practitioner who knows how to differentiate and vary teaching approaches and strategies to cater to individual needs of children
• Has strong people skills and works well with different people in the school community
• Has strong classroom management skills that are centred on cultivating a growth-mindset in children
• Strong IT skills using Microsoft and Apple-based software and applications.
• Great communicator with the children and adults in the community
