At The Grange International Preschool (TGIP), joyful discovery fuels every learning moment. Our Young Creators extended their International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC) theme – “Let’s Play Outside” to the outdoors.

Brave explorers stepped into a playful scenario where sea animals were trapped in ice, and their mission was to set them free.

Experimenting, Predicting, and Problem-Solving

Before the rescue began, the children predicted which tools would work best. They compared brushes, droppers, spoons, and spray bottles. These predictions encouraged communication and clear reasoning.

As they tested each tool, the children observed how water changed the ice. They adjusted their strategies and shared their thinking with their friends. This simple challenge supported the understanding of cause-and-effect and estimation skills.

Building Future-Ready Skills Through Play

The activity strengthened thinking skills and encouraged brave exploration. Fine motor control are refined through hands-on play. They worked together, supported friends, and celebrated each rescue. Their teamwork showcased growing problem‑solving skills. They also built creativity, resilience, and curiosity — key foundations for future-readiness.
