At The Grange International Preschool (TGIP), meaningful learning extends far beyond the classroom. This was brought to life at our Agroforest Farm Day on 29 May 2026.
This event was a student-led showcase spanning four months of hands-on learning, as our preschoolers progressed from planting seeds to nurturing a thriving agroforest.
Confidently guiding their families through the farm, they shared what they had grown, built, and discovered along the way. Our young learners also demonstrated how to prepare a simple ginger salad using ingredients harvested from their own ginger plot.

Supporting Farmers in Timor-Leste
More than a showcase, Agroforest Farm Day also served as a fundraising initiative. Families took part in meaningful activities such as tree planting and harvesting fresh produce together with their child. Funds raised will support a group of farmers in Timor-Leste through, connecting our students’ learning to a wider global impact.

Why Authentic Experiences Matter in Early Childhood Education
Through these authentic experiences, children develop essential life skills such as communication and problem-solving, while deepening their understanding of sustainability and the world around them.
At TGIP, we nurture life-ready learners who grow with purpose, and are ready to make a difference.
